Nindigully Master Plan - Initial Community Consultation

Council is developing a Master Plan for the Nindigully township which will guide future development for years to come.

Council has released it Arts and Culture Strategy 2024-2029, which will guide the growth and development of local art, music, culture and craft in the Shire over the coming years.

2024 ANNUAL REPORT AVAILABLE ONLINE

Balonne Shire Council’s 2024 Annual Report is now available online and outlines a record spend of around $97 million (from mostly grant funding) on roads, infrastructure, essential services and community initiatives throughout the Shire.

Council’s Authorised Inspection Program

Council Authorised Inspection Program will commence on 1 November 2024 through to 31 January 2025.

During this program, every allotment in townships in the Balonne Shire will be inspected to check on the following:
-registration of dogs;
-permits for the keeping of stock dogs;
-permits for the keeping of other animals.
