Pool and road closures: Battle on the Balonne

St George Pool

The St George Pool will be closed to the public from 3pm to 6pm this Saturday, March 27 and from 5am to 11am this Sunday, March 28.

With flood runoff moving through the Balonne River adjacent to St George, the pool will be used for swim legs of the Battle on the Balonne triathlon.

The pool will be open to the public from 10am to 12 Noon on Saturday and from 3pm to 6pm on Sunday.

Local road closures

The Queensland Police Service has advised that St George’s Terrace in St George will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 3pm to 6pm this Saturday, March 27 and again from 5am to 12 Noon this Sunday, March 28 between the intersections of Balonne Highway and Roe Street.

This section of St George’s Terrace is being used during these times to conduct legs of the Battle on the Balonne triathlon.
