The Bureau of Meteorology recently updated its 1300 Telephone Weather Service. The Bureau now provides one number to access current weather warnings.
Bureau of Meteorology - National Weather Warnings: 1300 659 210
After dialling this number each state's weather warnings are accessed as follows:
- For NSW/ACT Warnings: Select Option 1
- For VIC Warnings: Select Option 2
- For QLD Warnings: Select Option 3
- For SA Warnings: Select Option 4
- For WA Warnings: Select Option 5
- For TAS Warnings: Select Option 6
- For NT Warnings: Select Option 7
