The St George Chinese Community Memorial Committee Bursary Fund is focused on local Chinese history and research that can help to cultivate cohesion and advance multiculturalism by empowering young people from diverse backgrounds to engage in a shared exploration and celebration of the local Chinese culture and history.

By offering financial support and recognition for research projects on local history, this competition encourages young people to work together, learn from each other, and build bridges of understanding and respect.

This in turn, brings people from different backgrounds together to appreciate and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of their community.

The SCCMC is currently offering 5x $500 Bursary Grants to students at the St George State High School and the Country Universities Centre Balonne.
