St George and Nindigully residents and community groups are invited to join Councillors and senior Council leaders for an informal catch up next week.

The Community Catch-Up will be held on Thursday 6 June from 5.30pm-7pm in the Disaster/Training Room behind the Council Chambers in Grey Street.

Mayor Richard Marsh said residents and community groups would have the chance to discuss current issues and put forward ideas to the Council about the future needs of the community.

“The aim of these community catch-up days is to bring Council and the community together to talk about projects for the region,” he said.

“These events are one way to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and include the community in what we are doing.

“There will be a loose agenda for the evening, so if you have something you want discussed please submit your item to Community Development Officer Liah Hayden either in writing at the front desk or via email at liah.hayden@balonne.qld.gov.au by Monday 3 June 2019.”
